In 2005, Rick Snyder joined TANDBERG as its President of the Americas, and was promoted to President of Global Business in 2009. Under Mr. Snyder's leadership, TANDBERG Americas achieved the number one market share position in all measured videoconferencing revenue categories in less than three years. As a member of TANDBERG's Executive Commitee, Mr. Snyder contributed to a jump from $300 million in total sales to over $1.0 billion in less than five years. In April 2010, TANDBERG was aquired by Cisco Systems, Inc. Mr. Snyder was charged with overseeing the integration of TANDBERG into Cisco, and with leading a variety of specialist sales theatres, serving as Vice President of Global Business, TelePresence Video Sales. During Cisco's FY11 fiscal year, the global telepresence video business grew by over 30 percent - outpacing industry growth. In August 2011, Rick Snyder was appointed to the position of Vice President of Cisco's Global Enterprise Partner Organization. In this new capacity, Mr. Snyder draws on his extensive field sales background as he leads the global teams responsible for the strategic relationship with Cisco’s top ecosystem partners and systems integrators. Aside from his work at Cisco, Mr. Snyder leverages his expertise in the videoconferencing and collaboration industries as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for IMCCA (Interactive Multimedia & Collaborative Communications Alliance). Some of Rick Snyder’s previous roles include his experience as Chief Executive Officer for ReView Video/Westcon Group, Inc., a company that distributed value-added conferencing services. Mr. Snyder also served as Senior Vice President, General Manager of Distribution, and Senior Vice President of Professional Services for Williams Communications/NextiraOne, an enterprise networking business.
